When you say second hearing do you mean this has been viewed already and they have paid fees?

No. What I am saying is they have paid £25 to get a claim into the court system and a further £25 to get it to a hearing stage where you have to produce a WS.

So if you are at the WS stage, two fees have been paid; one judge has had a look at it at the DQ stage; and another judge will decide on the outstanding issues at the upcoming hearing. In between, it has been computers generating templates and forms.

    Hi,

All printed, signed, numbered and sent in. We shall see what happens. The fees are not due until the 24th July.

I will keep you all updated but thank you all for the help you have given up to this point.

Yes, you will have seen from others you are likely to get a notice of discontinuance from them in the next few days

You could respond and state that, on the contrary, if they discontinue now YOU will accpet payment of (approx half the costs schedule you have prepared) else when you prevail you will ask for (full amount)

I called the court today, to see if they have paid the next few that was due last Friday. They said it hadn't been paid but needed to check.

Looks like it will be struck off.

So I will see what happens and let you know

Called the court yesterday and the case has been struck out due to them not paying the court fee.

So is there anything else I need to do? The court said a letter is on its way.

Thank you all so much for your help. It's been a fairly stressful process but mainly as you have to jump the hoops. It has all been worth it though.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
