I am so glad you can use the washing machine. I had a new kitchen and wall between old kitchen and dining room demolished about a year and a half ago and managed using a microwave and Remoska for over week.

Your are nicer than me - I would have put a smile on my face and said how sorry that my cooking was not to her taste and suggested W***shire foods or others of that ilk. I sometimes get comments from dds when I offer what I cooked and put in the freezer but decided not to take it personally (they are never rude by the way)

Middle dd was here yesterday having stayed over on Saturday.and we went for a walk and had a good catch up. I got her opinion on some tops and the ones that we decided were not flattering went into a charity bag. We has a look at the internal garage and decided I needed a big tool chest to keep things safely out of the way so I ordered a big plastic trunk today and a set of garage shelves so I can tidy up the space. The previous owners put down random bits of carpet which have ruckled up and are a trip hazard so I will have to think about a proper floor covering like industrial hard wearing carpet, cushioned lino or carpet tiles etc.

    Hugs to all
