I'm certain there are many operations that can only currently be done in NHS hospitals.
The OP doesn't have to tell us, I don't expect that, just pointing out that without the information a lot of the thread is guesswork, like your assumption that a critical care bed would be needed for example.

Look at the Wellington Hospital in London. I can personally recommend them, although their charges will be at the top of the scale. A family member has had extremely complex surgery there, and the care received was excellent (they live overseas so their costs were covered by an expat health insurance).0
