6 disputes in 12 months!
ive not had to open 6 unpaid item disputes in the last 12 months for selling things.
maybe you are a bit to trusting on ebay.
im surprized you still use it for designer items.

lucky you! i've got 2 open at the moment and more to open in the next few days.
i don't use ebay for designer items and the fake item is not a designer item.
i can't believe that this thread is still active. i only asked for some advice and the matter is resolved now.0 -
Why do you need to open so many disputes? It's not going to look good on your PayPal record? Someone may think you are lying...(not me, just giving you a possible situation)0

ok,maybe i should have said branded items.
i wouldnt continue opening so many disputes,it is likely the powers that be will not believe you after a few more.
are you sure these matters can definatly not be resolved without resorting to the dispute?...work permit granted!0 -
What was the item?
Or would you like others here to fall for the same scam.0 -
when i said i have 2 disputes open at the moment and more to open in the next few days - i was replying to goldspanners mentioning ebay unpaid item dispute not paypal item not received/not as described disputes!
i have my buyer requirements set quite high but have unfortunately had some idiot buyers, surprisingly with 100% feedback scores coming up with ridiculous excuses for not paying lately.
i have opened paypal disputes due to item not received or item not as described. it is only a very small percentage of items i buy on ebay that i have had problems with. why should i lose money if i have not received an item? or an item is not as described, when i am able to open a dispute to get my money back?
i am actually very sensible when it comes to purchasing on ebay, i always check feedback scores, including what negatives are for etc. i rarely purchase from anyone with less than 99% feedback and never purchase from inexperienced sellers with low feedback scores. but sometimes sellers have 'gone bad' after my purchase has been made. i will continue to purchase whatever i like, and will continue to open disputes if i do not receive an item or an item i receive is not as described.
i only open disputes if absolutely necessary, i always contact the seller first to try and resolve matters but if this fails then i will open a dispute. i am not sure what the problem with this is, and why should i let bad sellers get away scot free?
this thread was started to ask for advice on receiving a fake item. I think this thread should now be closed as the original matter has now been resolved. those who offered helpful advice have been thanked and i will not be replying to any further posts in this thread.0
