    Hi,
Have been lurking on this thread for a few days and would love to join in next week if that's OK. (not this week as I am just about to hand over £2000 for a new boiler )
Anyway, could anyone explain the 'rules' for me. I presume amount you budget is for non-essentials. Also, why is challenge sunday to friday - what happens on saturday. Do you set new amount each week?
    Thanks Jess

Hi jess, there arnt really any 'rules' but basically the challenge runs from sunday ~ friday every saturday is a 'free' day however this doesnt mean you save up what you need to buy on that day  and also there is still a daily thread so i expect to see you all posting unless you have no internet conection :rotfl: Every saturday (usually but due to my working shifts it may be friday night/sunday morning) i start a moozies challenge thread, this is where you pledge your spends for the week. The following week you tell me what you spent and your new pledge and in the opening post of that thread i will turn you red/green depending on your spends :D Thats basically it, many also add there progress to their sig as a constant reminder :D

received three phone calls from ASDA this morning - the first of which was to ask me if I would be prepared to accept a 'Home Delivery' driving job, the second was to discuss 'available hours' and the third was to ask if I could possibly attend their 'welcome' day on Saturday. :j The job on offer is for the 'twilight' shift - 5pm - 9.30 and is for five evenings a week.

    Rog

This is wonderful news - you must have impressed them yesterday for them to call you within 24 hours:beer:! I hope you have much fun there. It's 20 years ago when I worked at Asda (bag-packer and shelf-stacker at Christmas) and my induction was things like health & safety, what you can expect from them (perks and benefits), details of any probation period, form filling (bank details for payment) though as I said it was 20 years ago so some things may have changed:D.

didn't manage a NSD today. I managed to spend £10.05 in the supermarket, gave DH £4 and spent £1 on the lottery (I am allowed to dream and sometimes you have to 'fund' a dream)...

    Will try harder tomorrow.
