Morning folks!
Pap get up outta that bed
Well, seeing as I've totally blown this weeks budget in style, I thought I might as well go and finish off the christmas shopping, which is budgeted for but still means more flippin spending. I know my promises come thick and fast but I will have a NSD soon honest
So, lead by example everyone, what will you or won't you be spending today?

Hi Toto and everyone,
Sorry, no good examples here - been a bit off the wagon over the past few days - had a very expensive but fun weekend and been v busy since as well. Today's a bit quieter but already spent 55p on a scone (expensive AND fattening!!!) and will need to buy lunch (about £2). But doing yoga in my lunch break so can't go near town which is a Good Thing. Feeling vulnerable to spending today, on things like snacks, - am v tired after staying out late last night watching the Super Furry Animals but it was worth it cus they're ace! Possibly need to pop to Boots as well on the way home for my medicated shampoo- scalp is v itchy! So that'll be about another £6. Oh dear oh dear. Must get back on track tomorrow!

Very boringly, I am back to my 40p for my paper today, and I've already spent it - so nothing else to spend for the rest of the day (hopefully)[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0

I worked with the super furries a couple of years ago at a festival. Someone had this really smart idea of putting the whole band in these electric light up suits. They were white from head to foot and had these luminous electric strips on them. Only the person who designed them didn't take into account of the great british weather. It was P*ssing down and the rain was coming at a 90 degree angle onto the stage. The whole band were scared stiff that they would be electricuted live on stage... it was a quick set that night :rotfl::A

:T Hi Toto:hello: - I see PaP must be on another early start - she really is a workaholic - bless her.
Anyway, thanks for starting the thread. I had, originally, planned for a 'No Spender' today, but I have received three phone calls from ASDA this morning - the first of which was to ask me if I would be prepared to accept a 'Home Delivery' driving job, the second was to discuss 'available hours' and the third was to ask if I could possibly attend their 'welcome' day on Saturday. :j
The job on offer is for the 'twilight' shift - 5pm - 9.30 and is for five evenings a week. This will, certainly, allow me to pursue my longer term abition, of going back into business, during the day and provide me with some well needed cash.
So I MAY treat myself to a haircut (£6.50) today. :undecided :undecided
Anyway I am in a good mood - this has ALL happened LESS than 24 hours after yesterday's interview - and they said we wouldn't hear anything for 72 hours. As those of you who have also been long term unemployed, and refused benefits, will understand, I am starting to feel like a real person again. :T
Thanks to everyone who has been wishing me well. :T :A :T
If anyone could advise me what to expect on the 'welcome' day I would be most grateful - Thanks again.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I am having a NSD hopefully as I don't plan on leaving the house. It's too cold to go anywhere. The kids have plenty of things to do here, so we don't need to go out to spend anything.
Had a NSD yesterday too, so 2 in a row for me.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Rog that is fantastic news well done. Even better that you have your days free to work on other projects. And, you only have contact with a handful of the general public on any working day... bonus:rotfl:
I'm really pleased for you hon, go get yourself a haircut and some value chocolate, make the most of it because soon you'll be called names if your workmates see you with anything other than smartprice:A
