would be nice if interest was paid monthly on Skipton, I don't plan on touching the account till feb/march so it will now stay still, but i guess that would muck up the bonus payments

The LISA bonus is completely unrelated to your interest payments as it is based on contributions into the account.

Oddly I received a letter from them telling me that my details did not match those held for me by HMRC. I've since looked at my details on both Skipton's site and my HMRC details and they're exactly the same so according to Skipton it may have been sent in error.

Not sure if anyone else has had the same issue but it at least means they're submitting the requests so hopefully won't be too much longer.

Was in this exact situation - called HMRC who said there weren't any issues they could see and called SBS to find out they'd sent the letters in error.

I've got my bonus (checked this morning) after all that so may be worth having a look to see if it's there.

Got my Bonus for Skipton paid on 25th
However, I transferred a H2B for £5,600 in to Skipton from Halifax at the end of January.
I don't seem to have received the part of the HMRC Bonus for previous tax years 2016-2017, only the last tax year 2017 - 2018?

    Anyone in a similar position?

Is the Halifax being paid at a later date?

Has anyone had a Halifax H2B which was transferred to Skipton and received all of the HMRC bonus's.

    Cheers

It might show as a single payment but the important question is was your bonus worth 25% of the account value at 31st March 2018 (minus any interest Skipton may have paid)? The entire LISA bonus would come via Skipton and none of it comes via your old HTB provider. If you feel your have received less than 25% then contact Skipton.

    Thanks Alex
I will drop Skipton a message.....

No the bonus paid was only 25% of the £4k in Skipton (and what had been paid into Halifax) for 2017-2018.

It did not include any bonus's for previous tax year 2016-2017 paid into H2Buy and was not 25% of my entire balance with Skipton at the end of the tax year. so about £800 short
