Seems silly that you have to opt out of ALL sms messages in order to stop account admin messages.

Agreed I have 3 text alerts setup for account balance reasons and of course fraud.

When i get texts for something else it flags up an error to me which is using the my mobile number (my personal data) for another purpose , which is against DPA principle 2. If it is not it is a fraudster. Santander will explain why its not.

Thank you for spending your valuable time in responding to my post about Santander Bank and Credit Cards.
I sympathise with the situation you mention above.

family time in these circumstances is valuable and for you to find time to respond to me is very kind of you

Good luck with your claims. I am told that the Benefits system in the uk can be difficult I would suggest contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Good luck with your claims and i sincerely hope your benefits are not reduced by ...£100 a month from the government ..."potentially being worse off by over £100 a month..."

Mind you I envy your visit to Disneyland Florida in 2013.

I thank you again for your have a beer emoticon

First of all thank you for stalking me... and for exposing yourself as the complete and total plank that you are.

Secondly you really need to go and sort out your eyesight you moron. Paris is in France, in the continent of Europe. Florida is in North America.. But you'd have known that if you had read my post properly.

What point did I mention benefits being reduced by £100? Being worse off could have been relating to anything at all like a reduction of wages or increase of taxable income...Don't be foolish and just assume things. I would love to contact the CAB, but dont need to because unlike you I can research things and make adequate decision for myself without feeling the need to get straight on the phone...

Maybe that sums you up... maybe your woe is caused by your obvious lack of attention to detail? or just the fear of spending your twilight years in this wierd bubble that you live in....either way get a grip and stop hassling poor customer service staff with your unwanted and unneeded demands....

Thank you for pointing this out to me. I sincerely hope your income support or Universal credit dilemna does not leave you £100 worse off.

I envy you for visiting Paris France and wish I could afford to go there or Paris Texas.

With your knowledge could you advise what is the is the minimum level of income to qualify for income support or Universal credit because I am unfamiliar with these sources of income.

Last year after a visit to Asda Opticians and after following advice on this website resulted in a Subject Access Request, a Freedom Of Information Request and Communicating with the General Optical Council I registered a complaint with Asda.

My complaint was upheld and in the process of servicing the complaint they seriously breached the DPA about my personal data which they agreed and upheld the complaint and the complaint about their error in the complaint .

It was a serious breach and they offered a substantial "Gesture of Goodwill".

    Thank you MSE website

If your name sounds like Donald Vague then you have more to worry about than the authenticity of text messages and emails...

Actually asda were pretty good about it. I did not know that you cannot send health data from and NHS database unless to an nhs email address. This was the error its acceptable as an error because they hadn't done it before. The code of practice is to send encrypted data which they did to me via email and then texted the password. They originally sent it in a normal email and when i called in I discovered that all the customer service team could read the email sent to me
