No, there are no requirements to enter a VRN , Just good old fashioned, ( and honest ) buy a ticket, stick it on your dash to prove that you've paid and we wont try to screw you. Guess which car park I use now.

On another matter. I'm sending my defence to Northampton tomorrow. I've read the Newbies and all the excellent advice, one thing I've missed, will the eventual DJ actually see that defence as I've laid it out, Or just my W/S. Regards.

Thought I would also add that going off a facebook group set up about this particular car park there are around 21 people with current PCN's from HX, all at varying stages on that group alone

What the FB group could do, is to give each other Witness Statements about the failures on the machines there. A big bunch of those would be very useful to the judges who tend to be local, talk to each other and do share little bits of fact.

Should close down the Gladstones machine for a while.

Yep, seconded, definitely do that between the group, dated/signed WS from all, that everyone can download and use for their cases. And ideally if some can show up in person at hearings, so that the extra WS are not dismissed as hearsay due to the absence of the witness.

The DJ will see both your defence and your WS (and the evidence you supply with the WS in the file - paper copy, numbered pages & with a contents page - you supply for the court).

I too am being chased after losing my appeal with POPLA! I paid the correct amount and did not overstay but still being chased for £100 for not putting full registration in! Not sure what to do as anxious but it’s so unjust!

Search the forum for rectification notice wrong VRN and copy the tactic.
