"Everybody" knows that you have to check the weight/size of any multipacks. Shelf marking also shows you £/100g. It's easy for anybody spending 10 seconds to inspect and compare the two and make an informed choice.
I'm gobsmacked at how many people don't seem to understand the 'price per 100ml/litre/100gms' etc

I stood in front of liquid washpowder in Tesco, picked up the best buy and said 'no brainer' to the bloke next to me as it was clear which was the cheapest.
He didn't know how to read the SEL to decide which to buy so I had to explain to him.
He said his wife always bought the small one but I pointed out the big one was half the price and if space wasn't a problem, why not save money.
I left him on the phone to his wife. :)

The bars at Asda are Not the old "fullsize" either. The argumen that people prefer less calories is plain daft, just dont eat them at all!

Or just don't buy them full stop.

While annoying for those who don't bother to check, it's not a scam just because they couldn't be bothered to check the freely available and visible information.

Ah now this everybody is a small minority as there are still folk out there who don't read the palrice labels.

Cadburys 4 bars packs are £1 for 4 bars pack at Morrisons and Asda regular normal 47 g size.
But Aldi and Lidl have a nice little scam designed to deceive where their 4 pack scam
pack is £1 BUT each chocolate bar is the smaller 40 G size. With reduced nougat topping

No scam to report here, if the price label was correct then there's no scam.

    Why?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

Spotted the price per.. labels to be wrong in ASDA on more than a few occasions.

Looked at the 400gm block of cheese and it gave a price that was cheaper per 100gm than the larger 830gm block, but the price just didnt look right. The per 100gm price for the smaller block was wrong. Made it look a better deal than it really was.

Not a scam but useful information as knowing that the same product is the same price but bigger in Asda is useful to know.
