"Everybody" knows that you have to check the weight/size of any multipacks. Shelf marking also shows you £/100g. It's easy for anybody spending 10 seconds to inspect and compare the two and make an informed choice.

While annoying for those who don't bother to check, it's not a scam just because they couldn't be bothered to check the freely available and visible information.

The bars at Asda are Not the old "fullsize" either. The argumen that people prefer less calories is plain daft, just dont eat them at all!

Everything in moderation. A full size chocolate bar is too much for me, so I'm happy for the smaller sizes.

It's no different to Poundland and all the other cheapie places. When comparing prices you always need to check you are comparing like for like.

And don't get me started on how Toblerones are but a shadow of their former selves.

The Aldi version is much nicer. (If they ever have it back in )

If it's properly labelled, there's no scam....you just need to read.

Unfortunately I don't think people do anymore.

Some size differences could just be because manufacturers are frequently reducing them, so new stock will be lighter.

This size difference is everywhere, A quick check shows 8 Snickers weigh more than 10 in the multipacks! Plus look at Pears soap, 125g reduces to 100g in twin packs, Ginsters pasties shrink when you buy a pack of 4 etc. etc.

I actually like the smaller sized bars in multi packs, I don't feel so guilty eating one

Actually I think Id start feeling sick eating a full sized bar of anything now

How can you say that it's my favourite bit lol
We are a perfect pair. :D

My ex husband hated egg yolks (it's the best bit!) so he ate all the whites and I had the yolks.

Sadly, that was the only perfect bit about our marriage. :rotfl:

Asda were selling Picnic bars in 4x48g for £1 and Tesco were selling the 4x38g for the same.
Asda are selling McVities Digestive twin pack for £1.89, Tesco for £1.99 but the Asda pack is 2x400g and Tesco is 2x500g. Not for long though as Tesco have them RTC for £1.29.

    What does RTC mean

I find it amazing that someone spends the time to open a new account and post about something that is not a scam, it's just a price and weight difference.
