Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
Today's plans include changing the bedding, hoovering/sweeping/mopping through and choosing a wedding outfit.
So far I have watered all the indoor plants and seedlings and changed the water in the cut flowers.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Calling good morning to you all....can you hear me above the screams and shouts, blaring TV, high volume "music" blasting out through kitchen ceiling speakers, dogs barking and thundering feet upstairs? No? Didn't think so.
Return to school is Tuesday. I. Cant. Wait.
Not much flying to report as the Easter holidays have consisted of entertaining small people, other people's small people, visiting other small people and washing the subsequent muddy clothes. Ooh, WM x 1354 counts as flying doesnt it!?
Did I mention that DH finally put the coat rack up last weekend? Well, that fell down this morning...

The kitchen was half done yesterday so I shall clear the worktop of doom today.. AGAIN.
Oh.. question.. OH it useless.. upstairs I have a new SC, in the box. In my kitchen I have my old SC.. the handle is broken , the control panel bit is broken.. it works but the side is gone and wires are exposed.. so do I bin it, even though it works perfectly and use the new one, or do I use the old one until it dies a death?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Oh dear, think we are all suffering with children today. DS1 went out last night and said that he was staying at a friends. For some reason I felt really uneasy about this and went to bed but couldnt get to sleep. Then got a message at 12.30pm to ask if I could get him, which I did. Upshot of all this was that I didnt get to sleep until gone 2am.
So, been pottering about, hanging washing out, trying to tidy my office which refuses to look the way that I want it to no matter what I do. Off out on the bikes in a bit, need some fresh air, even if I am a bit sleep deprived.0 -

Not telling you what to do (I wouldn't dream of it) but that was the immediate thought that came into my head on reading your post.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Piggers- I agree with LW. Time to bin old sc. x
Dailies done
Bit of an atmosphere here today. When told there is no rush and I can wash my hair, I stupidly thought this meant there was no rush.
Just had lunch so need to pop to check on my parents.0 -

I've tried that in the past - Tiny just switches it off when he wants something  When did three year olds become so tech-savvy?
Booted boys outside to play in yet more mud and they joined DH cleaning out the chickens and chopping wood. Both highly dangerous activities for DH on his own, let alone with kids swarming round. Somehow he managed to ensure all fingers and toes remained attached to their respective bodies but did drop a log on his knee - the one he had replaced last year  He is now resting it and watching Whacky Races with the boys.
Meanwhile I have stripped our bed, emptied and reloaded DW, WM on twice, ironed for an hour (and actually put clothes away in the correct drawers), fed everyone lunch and scrubbed the minging kitchen sink.
Happy Sunday everyone x0
