Thanks Greenbee.Sounds like a productive day DIA.
I do have a HIIT Pilates session tonight, and another tomorrow, and plenty of time to run tomorrow and Wednesday too, so I need to make myself go out.
All the exercise sounds great. Enjoy.

Thanks Hairy and Abba. I am so looking forward to it. Seven weeks to go :eek:Congrats on the sabbatical xxIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have been eating lovely breakfasts and just starting to enjoy them without condiments. I wash and chop kale or spinach in advance and add greens to every meal I have. So this morning I had eggs and kale with hummus. Yum.

I am sleeping better now that I am eating better. It is a funny feeling waking up and feeling fully refreshed and not wanting to stay in bed any longer.
I am not weighing myself because I don’t want to obsess but I can feel my weight going down, especially from my waist (the most dangerous area to lay down fat if you want to avoid diabetes)
This evening I will be spending an hour gardening after work instead of walking
MSE wise. I am having a NSD. Aiming for 15 NSDs in October. Today I am slow cooking a turkey leg to eat with kale and YS Brussel sprouts. A very cheap and nutritious meal
Wishing you all a positive day

I made a payment to my CU account and there is £780 in my emergency fund. :j I am going to see if I can make my target of £1,000 by the end of October. I have never had an emergency fund so I am excited to think I have one now.
I returned a F1tb1t I thought I needed but really don’t. :money: I already understand I need to be more active and I have mapped out a walk I can do to get the required steps. I just need to do it and an app is not the answer for me. I must stop trying to buying solutions.
Not having alcohol or sugar I find myself buying nice food, like organic apples and chicken and I need to watch I don’t treat myself too much.
Hopefully it should even out as not buying junk.
I have no real drive to eat junk, sugar or alcohol. I am enjoying the food I do eat more.
I joined the library. :T :T Now I work 4 days a week I have time not to run up late return fines. They had 2 books I can now take out of my online shopping basket :money:
It is a beautiful day. I had my packed lunch sitting on a bench in the sunshine. I hope you are able to enjoy some sunshine wherever you are

Are you finding that avoiding alcohol and sugar is making you think about food more, so you're eating better generally, not just cutting out those too?
I think I'm eating fewer carbs generally, and a lot more veg because I'm having to focus on creating a meal not just eating mindlessly.
I've done two HIIT pilates classes, one run and one ordinary pilates class this week and am feeling the benefit. Although strimming the grass earlier was a challenge as my arms are feeling feeble
Today's CV exercise will be a bit of mowing... which I need to do now before it is too dark/damp.
Well done on all the positive things you're achieving.0 -
I hope to get nearer to your exercise levels greenbee. You are doing so well

I am a natural foodie so I think I've just transferred my food urges and now I concentrate on enjoying what I can eat. I don't think about food more often, probably less, but yes greenbee I am much more mindful when eating and that increases my enjoyment of what I am eating. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Well done on the sabbatical DIA. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it.
What a few bargains you've had. Can you do my shopping please?
You've just reminded me I have a garden full of kale and cabbage. I like the kale in a smoothie with spinach and fruits. I must start eating for meals too though. The turkey leg and kale combo sounds nice.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Hairyhand thanks. I agree they are all addictive. I am enjoying having control over them (for now)
Parsniphead Good to 'see' you here
Use up your kale. I love the stuff and it will do you good
Today
I opened my boot today and discovered that when I gave my car to the car cleaners to do inside and out they stole the contents of my boot. Jump leads, car jack and new window screen wipers. I feel a bit stupid but did not think to clear my boot.
I am lucky enough to afford double A emergency service so I won’t replace them and would probably not have ever used them (except wipers) anyway but the thought of being taken for a mug upset me. The feeling has lessened but is still with me despite me saying LET IT GO over and over to myself. In the grand scheme it doesn’t matter. I know. It’s just human beings are so damn disappointing sometimes.
Worse I had a bad feeling before I gave my car over to COMPLETE STRANGERS. Yet still did it. They also did a rubbish cleaning job. Double theft. The person I am most cross with is me.
I spent a bit too much on hot drinks and I was out with no lunch so I picked up bits here and there. It all adds up. I should have taken my lunchbox. I associate with needing it for work when now I realise I should pack it whenever I leave the house.
I did not go to Tai Chi or walk anywhere.:o
Basically an out of balance day. Searching for some good from today…I got stressed but still stuck to the eating plan
Tomorrow I hope for a better dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
