Have just had a look at a website and the the book might be called "The Chimp Paradox". I hope that is the right one as I have ordered it ( on sale and free postage so money saving).

Congratulations on the birth of your Grandson ScarletRibbons so pleased for you. I wish your DD a speedy recovery.

    Morning all.

Busy day for me so why am I still in bed? Food shopping this morning and the Grandchildren are having a sleepover tonight. I might need a bit of a nap come dinner time.

I had to Google 'the inner chimp'. Wow, my chimp gets a free reign where my emotions are concerned...I must find out more.

    Onwards and forwards

    Have a great day all.

  • Good morning & a Happy Easter to one & all. It is currently dry here with bright cloud :)

nmlc thanks for starting us off

SR congrats - enjoy the cuddles with your new dgs

Hoping Holly has a good Easter & that her brother manages a couple of visits. I am keeping everything crossed that Holly can go home on Thursday :)

DH is still in bed but will wake him up soon - bedding needs washing, drying & putting back on the bed as only have one winter set :) I have had a lovely hot bath & washed my hair - the only trouble is my hair is so long I can almost sit on it & it takes an age to get the tangles out :(

Lots of housework & Swedish Death Cleaning is on the cards today so I will finish my coffee & finish detangling my hair & then start.

Was just interrupted by the milkman - so he is paid to date :)

    Have a great day everyone.

Sorry Gers, I couldn't get the link to work but it sounds an interesting idea.

I have the chimp paradox book on my bookshelf but I haven't read it yet, maybe something to do over Easter.

    Hello all
Please, please could you send the Sandman back tonight! I was still awake at 6am . Lots of ridiculous things going round in my head, things that I have no control over. I'm blaming TA who's passed the worrying bug to me :rotfl:.
The weather is damp again and the forecast for Monday is an amber warning for snow :(. So we have decided that the Easter lunch on Monday has been brought forward to Sunday. So on the agenda today ....
The WM is on and the DW is waiting to be fed the dirty dishes. Then the kitchen needs a wipe down, before I try to get a head start on veg prep for tomorrow. The turkey is already thawing, so this afternoon Mr Fix It will make some sage and onion stuffing and I shall make some pigs in blankets. I'm going to hide the Easter hunt eggs later tonight, ( it's indoors again ) and set the table before bed, then I'll probably have an early night. I'm sure there are more things to go on my "to do" list, it's a bit like Mary Poppins bag, you take one item done from the top and add two more "to do" to the bottom :rotfl:. It's never ending .
Tea tonight is easy as it's a HM curry and rice out of the freezer.

ScarlettR Congrats on the new baby GS. Hope Mum and baby are well. Has he got a name yet ?
Hester I couldn't do what you do. I'd like to know in advance where I would be mooring. Boring aren't I ?
Nelski If you're "going in", then I've got you covered :rotfl:
Elona now don't you get hooked on Gadgets, they have a habit of reproducing in a cupboard if left to their own devices :D
Well I'd better get started I suppose, because things won't get done by themselves ( shame ! )
Hope everyone has a good day whatever your plans. Take care all. Hugs.

JudiThe Sandman is a mythical character in folklore who puts people to sleep and brings good dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto the eyes of people while they sleep at night. HTH

    Hi everyone
I'm on two weeks holiday so very happy about that! Went into town with Dd for a little while this morning - it was pouring with rain, freezing cold and then started to snow! So we were home again quite quickly! It has stopped raining so I've put the towels out on the line for a blow. Now I'm having a nice lazy afternoon with a treat of fish and chips from the chippy to look forward to for tea.
I'm going to Palma next Thursday for 6 nights. If anyone has been I'd appreciate any tips you might have.
Going to start having a sort through my clothes now - I've never been abroad at this time of year so really have no idea what to wear to travel in or take with me!
