What insurance required for Florida car hire?

Hi, I have a car booked for Florida in June with Europcar. I have a previous experience of being told at the desk that I required certain extra insurance (can't remember what though) but this time I would like to go armed with all correct info. My car hire includes, CDW/TW, third part liability / supplemental liability ins. up to $1million, mechanical breakdown and unlimited mileage. Is there anything else I must have and anything else it would be sensible to get covered? Thanks in advance.

If it's like Dollar in Orlando no matter what insurance you have they'll still try to sell you more, also watch out for freeway passes which you probably won't need.0

Sounds like you've got it covered. I use the toll passes but it varies by company, this tells you how they work:

What's the excess? That's what the usually try to sell at the desk. Excesses can be massive, eg £500-£10000

If refundable, cancel and book with a better company.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
