Happy Birthday Judi :bdaycake:
What a lovely outcome from having such a tough time it gives me hope too.
The kids found their phones and coats, someone apparently moved them for a 'joke'. They went back down to the club and collected them. Thank goodness they have them again it's as if their hands were cut off before. Needless to say they haven't put them down since.

Afternoon all
Happy Birthday Judi. Have a lovely day.
Dumpling I am so glad the girls found their coats and phones.
It had been wet here today but is brightening up now. DGS is having a hearing test this afternoon. His speech is sometimes a little unclear and this is the first step on the road to finding out if he has a problem. DD was also getting his feet measured today. All systems go today then. while he is on Easter holidays.
Went grocery shopping with Mr Gintot this morning and bought a half leg of lamb on special offer. He thinks he has DGS's cold so has gone to bed for a nap. He is in the wars as he has mallet finger, a sore shoulder and knee as well.
Enjoy the rest of your day folks and keep warm.

Afternoon, and a very happy birthday to Judi. Loved your post!
And such good news from dumpling too. I can feel the relief from here.
My drive down was glorious, sunshine for most of the way. There’s lots of roadworks on my route though I managed to avoid two of the ones nearest to home. I’m now about to do some more reading, I could get to enjoy this way of life.
DM not too bright today, she had a visitor yesterday which she really enjoyed but will have, no doubt, done too much and is ‘paying for it ‘ today. I’ll do a bit of pampering.
I’ve got really itchy ears so have brought some olive oil to put in them later, they are driving me ever so slightly potty, hope there’s no infection.

TA although they're not technically "my" dogs, I have given Buddy and Indi a cuddle; it's a lovely thought, thank you. I do know what you mean; it's 16 years since Penny-Dog crossed Rainbow Bridge, and I still miss her.
We've had soggy walkies again this afternoon. Mr LW is in a grump because he dislikes getting wet; but when I suggested I try and manage both dogs myself, he said No, he'd come with me. So he can't say I forced him to come.
Oh, and Indi seems to think my skirt is his personal towel.
They are super dogs, though; they started last night both up on our bed. Buddy decamped to a dog-bed partway through the night, but Indi stayed with us - sleeping literally on top of me! It was like having a heavy black-and-pale brown extra blanket. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
Happy Birthday lovely Judi enjoy being spoilt by your family i know how hard you work to keep peace reigning and today is all about you :bdaycake: Enjoy another cake
No work today so i headed to the Trafford Centre for the 10am opening time. Thought it would be stacko but not so got a car park spot right near the door and was 2nd in the apple store. Thats where my joy ended though after finding out my air is going to cost a couple of arms and 3 legs to repair i could actually have bought another laptop with the money but i am afraid I am apple all the way through now so i will have to stump up and cringe. Went to my favourite shoe shop sketchers for any bargains but after the above price estimate I figured shoes would have to wait.
Headed to next to return some stuff (yeah money in not out ) then over to costco for some stuff for mum. Whilst in there I happened to fall upon some sketchers ....same ones I saw in the trafford centre shop for 59.99 at 19.99  well I hope you understand for that price I could not resistsuch a difference for exactly the same shoes. Anyway last stop was asda for some liver and a pizza for tomorrow (dont go along with the fish thing so its a steak and bbq) They were sampling a mocktail which I fell in love with and have just made one at home ( i had everything i so no need for more spend.) Its a lemonade, ginger ale, tonic water and a dash of balsamic vinegar for colour....I swear it tastes exactly like Pimms without the hangover
So tonight Im making liver and bacon with onion gravy and a pile of mash my favourite now
dumpling sorry about the girls things there are some real scummy people about

Evening everybody,
Judi, I hope that today has been good so far and continues to be so, you deserve the best, you are such a strong young woman!
It has been a misty, rainy day here, had a text from DD2 who went to Kerry this afternoon, saying that it is 'scorchio' there. DD3 and family have just left for Tralee for the weekend, so just 3 of us and Mossie here tonight, DD1 is working tomorrow and then gone until Monday. Will have DS2 and GF for Sunday lunch, they may stay the night.
I hope to spend some time with DD4 and her 3 little ones over the weekend as I don't seem to have as much free time as before, they are lively little girls and exhaust me on my own.
Enjoy your weekend
