Just follow the template, no-one is telling you to pay, only how to 'view photos' and appeal as registered keeper, assuming that's you and not your Mum?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I am the registered keeper yes. I know that you're not telling me to pay :)
  • I've entered the details and its gone to Parking Charge Notice Summary, with 2 buttons pay now or appeal now? no photo.

So what photos did you see when you looked under 'appeal now' seeing as all the keeper needs to do is copy & paste the template (NOT SAYING WHO THE DRIVER WAS) appeal from the NEWBIES thread.

Could be done within 15 minutes tonight, assuming the PCN you are talking about was a postal one, no need to delay as long as you don't write it in your own words.

At this point I would advise you press your browser's back button several times.

Then you need to re-read post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ thread again.
Particularly the link following this text:
    - this is why not to name the driver

But even before that, you need to review all your posts to remove all clues to the driver's identity.

For example, the first entence of your opening post would be better if it looked like:
I received a dodgy looking PCN today, all my details were on it and they are saying my car was parked in this car park at this time until this time.

The PPCs monitor forums like this just waiting for people to trip themselves up and you are well on the way to doing that.
  • Sorry if I was off, you have just pointed out some important points..
    Thank you.I will sort it
  • I think they are those ANPR camera's now according to their website

But the point I was making is my car could not have been parked there that day.

I do not know what photo they have yet. I do want to find out

The template letter, can it still apply to the ANPR as I was reading about signage etc..

I came here today as I needed advice, I am clueless about private PCN's, I have only had 2 parking fines in my whole driving life.

The other guy gave advice then just dropped me on my head, leaving it to someone else to pick up where he left off. I'm sorry if I don't know the right and wrong things to answer. If you truly want to help someone in need by commenting then it would be nice if you followed through and not leaving someone dangling!

As for the driving through to the other side which everyone does, there are no barriers, it's always been an open plan type of car park. I did not design the space so why it is like that I do not know.
