Aer Lingus disabled seat with companion

We were told by one representative of Aer Lingus that they could not allow any disabled person to have an aisle seat. The rationale, as they would pose a hindrance to able bodied passengers if they needed to get out of their seat.

Yet, part of the nature of the disability relates to the need to take diuretic medication preflight. This obviously leads to frequent visits and easy access to the WC. Surely a reasonable adjustment is to allow an aisle seat with close proximity to the WC?

Can anyone provide guidance as we have to travel with them again?
