Nelski I'm very sorry but your post about your Mum made me laugh ! My Dad is deaf too but in both ears. He wears one hearing aid, it was just to try it out about 3 years ago, but never went back for the other one . If you are on his right side he can't hear you ( no hearing aid ). Cue much shouting whilst shopping, usually about the tomatoes from Morrocco, he thinks the place is dirty and so are the toms :rotfl:.
Thanks for the update on Holly. I hope the meds work for her.
Right I'm going to watch GBBO, should be a laugh as Lee Mack is on . xx
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently

Nelski, thank you for the update.

Redruby please don't go back to work until you really can manage it. You'll just be ill again.

My day wasn't very nice. But now it is over. Tomorrow I have a funeral to go to, my former boss, a lovely and erudite man. I learnt a lot from hI'm and that's not a bad legacy.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

csarina - hopefully DD will be ok as she doesn't have many of the visible symptoms that people seem to get, although if she had she may have had treatment earlier.

Nelski, thank you for letting us know the more positive news about Hollie. You are very good but the offer stands, I would be more than happy to contribute.
