    Popcorn anyone...
The one thing I think I have re remembered from this Is be very very careful who you get to do jobs on your house..it is quite scary what is out there .. ( I!!!8217;ve read quite a few of his threads)

He reminds me of a lady I know actually, who has been hanging around a vulnerable neighbour who I pop in to see occasionally, who funnily enough has been doing a bad job of gardening (probably undeclared as despite telling her how to report her additional income easily to HMRC, she didn't seem too bothered by it).

I've had a quiet chat with one of her sons and butted out of it though, instead of attempting to find out everything I can.

I've now read 'em, too. Be it textbook or applepicker, the OP is repeatedly haunted by the prospect of being reported to someone or other for something or other at some time or other. The fact that this latest saga is unfolding under the forum's warnings section is perhaps as good a signal as any that the kind of help the OP actually needs isn't ever going to be found on MSE.

Well I recelollect one thread where they replied that mse wasn’t a place to get advice on getting away with fraud..
