I'll try MM anyway hope they hounor payment.

Have you tried a quote from Mazuma or Envirofone? They seem to have a better name than Magpie.

What is your phone's capacity? If it's bigger than a 16GB you might be able to get more as a private sale.

Magpie isn't a bad offer then (if they pay out), private sales seem to start around £100 for the 32GB model.

Thanks mser's the alternative sites were lower in se value
I took delivery of iPhone 8 tonight -no sim had to use se sim setup 8 then re insert sim to se to remove watch-find my phone-icloud etc.
Thankfully I'm since charging 8 upto full power.
Took a short few miles drive to courier depot as I wasn't home earlier.
Have since got se packaged to post to magpie tomorrow afternoon-no excuse for quoted 130 payout-se has been my fav iphone to dat from 5/6/se-quality little device.
I'll update via this thread once I get conf of payout.
8 seems nice-has to be for 2 years or more-I have to stop upgrades at some point for my own benefit not fit to. Collect and pack/post devices anymore-time to relax after work not drive often.
Interesting that magpie do have quite a few negative reviews -time will tell

    Thanks mser's for all reply's

I've secured a price match iPhone 8 offer via o2 chat this aftermoon.
A very small saving and I'll start a new 24mth contract.
I'lll continue with o2 for mobile +iPad Pro
    And Sky for Q/fibre +Line
Certainly interesting how competitors are interested in incentives to keep customers.
1st time I'm not using o2 re cycle which was excellent for iphone 5+6+Air
SE goes to the often advertised musicmagpie with a nice 130.00 payment v o2 73.00 offer.

I want an 8 plus and Sky do no upfront payment and are £45 per month as opposed to O2 £119 upfront and £51 per month. You have inspired me to "chat" to O2 and see if I can get the upfront payment down a bit otherwise I shall just move to Sky!
    Woohoohoohooooooooo
