Well, the thing is, if you are making it all up then you are not a busy person running a company but just some guy at home with nothing better to do.0 -

Once again you miss the point. (Probably deliberately so I'm out after this post - there's no point helping someone that doesn't want to be helped),
Why would she complain about not having a FAIR hearing when she NEVER HAD a hearing.Originally Posted by shortcrust

If you don't make a bad situation ten times worse, I'll be amazed.
Me, too.
It's your handling (mishandling?) of the situation that she's complaining about and she has to do it to you. How fair would you feel that was if you were in her position?0 -
I think I!!!8217;ll be fair. I am going into this with a very open mind. The hr company have said I can!!!8217;t be involved in any disciplinary though as it can be dealt with by my brother and the ops manager. They said they can sit in on that too if we want0

I don't know the people in your firm or your structure.
If it was my business, I would want all three people involved to be interviewed by someone who hadn't been part of the problem or the disciplinary action.0 -
Yea I agree but the HR company said we need to do this grievance meeting first before we decide next steps. They did suggest that she might be wanting to exit the company but to go in with an open mind.
I didn!!!8217;t ask them this, but should I give the woman the opportunity to select who she has her grievance meeting with?0 -

I'm with the others. This isn't real.
On the off chance it is speak only to the HR company and take their advice. That's what you (allegedly) pay them for. Ask them this question in the morning
And I'm out, now, too.0
