Wise beyond her years on that score I think PW.
I decided that I didn't need any males around in my early 20's, my Dad was an extra to keep in the background since I didn't live with him any more. Of course it didn't last long since I moved back in with him shortly afterwards but the thought was there. :rotfl:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

She has definitely got an old head on her shoulders, apparently the male species requires to much effort.0 -

Morning.
Waiting for some bits to be delivered for the kitchen, so have done an online shop with Mr M which is coming Monday evening should be around £55. Collected 2 eggs from the chooks and a dish of tomatoes and blueberries from the garden, thought I would get it done now as we are supposed to get heavy rain and thunder mid morning. We have eggs forever more so must do something with these, maybe scrambled eggs for lunch or eggs and hashbrowns for brekkie tomorrow.
Banking checked nothing exciting to report, still skint. Ebay is slow and I need to get a few things listed as well as catching up on any surveys.
We seem to have a load of veg looking a bit sorry for it's self so going to bung it all in the slow cooker add some spices etc and hopefully have a yummy curry for tea. DH is working for his mate today so that will be some extra spends for hols but as he is outside he will no doubt be drenched when he gets in, at least it is warm rain:D. He is also going to try and do a bit more on the kitchen this evening.
Enjoy the weekend.0 -
Kitchen bits have been delivered, we are getting there slowly.
I have lost all motivation to do anything, weather is pants and all I want to do is curl up on the sofa and watch carp telly.
DD and DS got up about 11ish and both had bacon butties and have gone back to bed, I have eaten waffles and maple syrup for lunch:o, in my defence they really needed eating, so eggs will do for brekkie tomorrow.
£5 made on ebay and I have joined Receipt Hog (thanks Munchin), so have been scrabbling around the house, car and handbag for receipts, luckily I tend to keep them just in case, so have uploaded what I have found and have 200 points already, need 1500 for a £5 paypal reward, everyone in the house is going to be under strict instructions to save receipts.0 -
Sounds like the kitchen is coming on nicely, I really can't wait until we can get our kitchen done it's absolutely horrible. Still progress is slow going!
I use Shoppix for receipts, all builds up nicely over the month.
Good work ethic from your dd, well done!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend, H x0 -

Very weird weather this afternoon, sunshine then suddenly sky turned black and it started to hail, followed by heavy rain and thunder and lightning. Had to make a mad dash with DD to get horse in as he doesn't like thunder so got completely drenched.
DH got back from doing some work for his mate, has had his tea and had to go back out to his main job as someone has rung in sick, so nothing will get done in the kitchen tonight.
Curry was good and there is a couple of potions to go into the freezer for when I go back to work.
Redeemed a £2 amazon voucher, slowly adding up.0 -
All sounding good round at yours Pennywise
.
Seems we are experiencing the same weather as you... even had to google why it was hailstoning in summer :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0
