Free voice call app that uses my WiFi from home?

Can you call landlines with WhatsApp? I checked a while back when looking for something better than Skype for calling landlines when on holiday, but WhatsApp didn’t seem to have that function.

I have downloaded the Alexa app from Google Play onto my phone, and it will make calls. Would not work on an older phone I tried.

Hi all! Ordered & received a charging case....£5.99 eBay....was for standard galaxy s3.....not mini! Bit thick headed today....man flu....?g/f is continuously taking the pi*s (!).....but can't find a charging case for an s3 mini.....am I stupid/blind????!! Lol. Any advice if anyone has the time would be much appreciated.

P.S....I do have a spare galaxy standard s3 but dropped in loo so at least £40 to repair!

You didn't say it was a mini..:D
They did do a charger case called the power jacket. I don't think it's available any more.
You have two alternatives...You can get a larger battery with a new back for the phone to accommodate it. Just look on ebay, lots of them.
Or you could buy a compact power bank to carry with you for the rare instances you run your battery down.
To be honest, it's an ancient phone and you would do better upgrading.

Joy, ordered s3 charging case, wrong one, needed s3 galaxy mini. New battery improves it a bit. S3 min charging cases are hard to find and dear.stupid pals WON'T download an app. Also, Nero launcher (I think???!) Makes launch a bit quicker. Somehow managed to root phone & move gallery toSD card. Phone point blank brings a message up saying phone CAN'T A move apps!

so....will give up as a bad job. TA for help given!
