The daily spam threads also helps to out the more sneaky spammers/postcount builders who chisel-away by posting inanities at random or on old threads till they can start posting links. It can take a while for them to accumulate enough clicks on the spam button otherwise.
A mod's attention can be drawn to the culprits by simply posting a link on the thread and they can delete them or not as they feel.0 -
But these Spam report threads now dominate this important board.
Put the Spam reports in a weekly or monthly report thread, not daily threads.
Those interested or involved in deleting can check there, not in daily repetitive daily threads.
I have never had a problem with Spam on MSE ever over 10+ years, it has been managed very well.0 -
Agreed that we should not have a new thread every day - this forum is now cluttered up with spam posts.0
