Nope, I hadn't a scooby, either. I just had a quick google, and my feeling is a) I've nowhere to put yet another big piece of kit, and b) it wouldn't be a great deal of help to a [STRIKE]PITA[/STRIKE] vegetarian like me (:p @ Nels ).

veg is cool i do that ........vegan gluten free i struggle with but its sorted

I'd be interested to know what these sessions entail - at present, if I take a fall, I crawl across the floor to a piece of furniture I can use to scramble up.

I’ll let you know. My DM can crawl / shuffle along but hasn’t got the strength in her arms or legs to even use furniture for support. As she tends to fall because of low blood pressure (as opposed to stumbling) the danger points are during the night loo visits. I bought her a shewee which she’s using very happily at night. :p

Well, the sunset is fabulous just now. I’ve had my evening meal and that’s me for tonight.

I used to use an old fashioned pressure cooker but didn't bring it on the boat as the hob isn't big enough. I can't have a pro king as I don't think my solar would run it.
When my kids were young I cooked all sorts in the pressure cooker and I blew the weight off it a couple of times, covered the ceiling in minestrone soup, great fun.
I had a pressure cooker when the kids were little. It took only 7 minutes to cook vegetables for our meal.... scared the heck out of me though when it depressurised. Mainly when i tried to 'help' it on its way.

I used to love my pressure cooker. I used to love pouring cold water over to release the steam. The noise was fantastic!
  • I don't think i would have bought the king pro thing myself, I just wanted a new slow cooker but was talked into this. I'm not a cook and I can't really see me using it tbh
