Vodafone SCAM -iFitness 'Other charges £3 a week'

Have had a known scam (iFitness) charged to my Vodafone mobile account as an 'other charge'since mid-August at £3.00 per week equating to almost £100. I have never signed-up to iFitness- Vodafone have said it is a known scam to them and have advised me to ring a third party company in order to receive a refund since Vodafone are unprepared to refund it themselves.
I have expressed that my contract is with Vodafone and not with a third party company. On Vodafone's own forum there is a link about this scam - which they are fully aware of - https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Android/Ifitness-Scam/td-p/2567935
Vodafone's only solution to-date, is apply a bar to my three accounts to prevent further 'other charges' to said accounts.
How many customers are still currently being ripped off as an additional charge every week/month?
Surely Vodafone have far more power as a large corporation to attend to these refunds than private individuals?
How many of their customer base, are still being charged at time of writing?
Look forward to your comments. :j
I am livid with the performance of Vodafone. I have been a Customer for over 10 years !!

I'm puzzled why you've waited long enough to rack up more than the first £12-£15. Since I check my bills as soon as they're produced I would have taken action when the charges first appeared. Or is it yet another case of someone who doesn't check their bills/bank statements etc. for months (and, it seems with some, years)?0

Firstly, you need to stop the hyperbole and deal with the facts. iFitness believe, rightly or wrongly, you have signed up for a service with them and are charging you for that service directly to your Vodafone bill.
If you dispute taking out the service you must do this with iFitness, not Vodafone. iFitness is required to hold tangible evidence of your signing up for the service.
Vodafone's only role in this is to pass on the charges to you.
For more details or to raise a complaint if iFitness isn't helpful, check out the regulator, the Prepaid Services Authority.
If refunds are due, these need to come from iFitness.
You need to change the title of this thread, remember you can libel a company.0 -

I've always had several simultaneous acounts over the last 11 years (often up to 11 at one time). In additon, I order for and watch over many cashback contracts for a number of other people to ensaure they get their cashback. My time is also "stretched", yet I have always checked every bill, never been charged for something I didn't sign up to, never gone over my minutes or minimum term (except for one contract which is still too cheap to dispense with now cashback - i.e. profitable - deals are no longer around to speak of) and also check my usage on my phone counters throughout each month.
If you haven't got time to check yours for months on end you have no-one to blame but yourself - and aiming at the wrong company doesn't attract sympathy either.
I expect you also don't bother putting sim and phone locks on as soon as you take out a contract? If so, don't blame the network should you run up further bills because your phone is stolen - another entirely preventable but common complaint on here.0
