I got the pressure king pro about a week ago and have been trying it out for the last few days. I got the six litre but for small families or couples the three litre at half the price would probably be better. It takes up less worktop space than the slow cooker did and it has about twenty functions.

I am just about to take out a lamb stew with lots of veg and it made a huge pot of bolognese as the base for a lasagne yesterday without having to stand over the hob for ages or steaming up the kitchen.

Thinking of Holly and hugs to all

Elona, DD's husbands got the 6litre one ,but they have a utility room with a countertop so plenty of room for it I have been looking at the specs and think a 3 litre one would be more than ample for me on my own.MrTs seem to stock them for £49.00 wich is doable so I may have a mosey up to the big shop tat some point this week and order one Its seems to be a pretty good way of cooking and extremely helpful for batch cooking meat with as you say less steam in the kitchen. I still have some Christmas cash that I haven't spent yet so it would more than cover the outlay.

Had a lovely meal at my youngest DDs tonight and feel well fed and watered so I am going to trot off to bed and probably have a bit of a read. The weather has been pretty abysmal just lately and I know I am heartily sick of snow and the icy winds .Toningh coming home my windscreen wipers seem to be frozen so I shall have to see if they are OK tomorrow or it will be a trip to the garage to get them fixed .

Keep warm and dry chums and top marks to my 'adopted DD' Nelski for all her generous care in keeping us up to date with Holly H and I really hope she is soon back amongst her friends posting once more. Nels I still have pictures of the Blackpool trip on my computer from years ago :):):)

    Cheers chums JackieO xxx
