Marvellous Monday - Kitchen
Level One
Clean floors
[strike]Find a roll of binbags[/strike]
Level Two
[strike]Clear[/strike] and wipe kitchen surfaces
Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
[strike]Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..[/strike]
[strike]Check washing machine drawer for ickiness!![/strike]
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• [strike]Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms[/strike]
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
• Update the inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
• Attack that hotspot of grot in the kitchen.. the one you look at, groan and decide to leave until next week.. but it's been there for years!!

Deep Clean Challenge
Sort through the crockery; plates, cups, bowls etc.. sling out everything that has chips and cracks.. these places harbour bacteria!!! Wipe the cupboards out before replacing what you can keep.. then find out when the next crap boot sale is and see if you can get some cheap replacements should you need them!! Feel free to get all excited and do more!!


Personal tasks:

• [strike]Empty DW and reload.[/strike]
• Empty TD and put away contents.
• Put away 2 baskets of clean washing that have been hanging around.
• Do a couple of loads of washing and hang out/in weather permitting.

Right time for an update...
have been to soft play centre - ds is completely shattered and is upstairs snoozing (I feel like joining him!) Had lunch and a cuppa and have managed to cover quite a bit of the list -

Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces first time of many
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!done yesterday when we went shopping
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
[STRIKE]Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/STRIKE] - have done grill and that was bad enough!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!

I feel really tired and a bit crap today. Thought I'd have a little lie down (I work evenings).

After 2 minutes, knock at door. Took in a parcel. Went back up. 2 more minutes, another knock. Did I want to have milk delivered.

I managed not to snarl at him, but I've given up now. Feel tired and crappy and really depressed now

well, i've just had lunch, watching the end of doctors before i get stuck back in.

have a missed call from the people who interviewed me the other day....no message, hopefully they will call back, or maybe i'll just call them. i know i won't have got it as i can't start for ages, but you never know if there is anything else coming up there i guess. still feel nervous.

OK, so we're moving in just over a week...
We haven't exchanged contracts yet due to probs with postal delays...
It's half term and the two toddlers are predictably bored and underfoot...
I've not done anywhere near enough packing yet...

And...

I've just found out I'm pregnant! Ahhhhh!!!

Just off to throttle OH and bury my head in the sand (well, drink a large cuppa anyway).

I claim the 'most stressed flyer' award today please :rotfl:

I REALLY don't want to do anything today!!! WHAT a slob I am.. not a very good leader at all!!

I can't even bring myself to list anything else on ebay.. there just is so much!! I'm just findnig it all so demoralising! I have bought some more posting bags as well.. looking for a good deal on sellotape at the moment for my christmas wrapping-fest.. need presents as well but nowhere ever seems to have sellotape after November round here so I'm stocking up early.

I have made a start on my christmas folder as well.. got my lists written and suchlike..

I have a whole 4 watchers on 90 items so far!! One of those is my sisters!

Damn.. no milk.. best send a child out to shop!

Mermaid - Congratualtions!! A cuppa will put things in perspective. Am hoping some of the flylady babydust comes my way!! Its babies galore on this thread!

Rugrat is awake and the electronic babysitter is working so I can get some ironing done!
