  • Good afternoon fellow flyers. I have done some ironing. 2 loads of washing. Put some ironing away. My summer house was delivered but was too large a box to be delivered to my back garden so had to be left in the street and I brought it in bit by bit. I live in a row of houses and I am 3rd house down  . Bleeding knackered. Have hoovered downstairs and had dusted living room and doors etc yesterday. Filled up DW. Just away to hoover the stairs and clear out the bookcase in the upper hall. Might have some stuff I can put on Amazon. Laters xx

Has anyone (while I remember) any experience of having a cat microchipped?? One of mine has a REALLY sore neck.. I'm not sure if he has been fighting and been bitten, if he has been scuffed by his collar (which I've had to remove) or if it is a reaction to the frontline drops... which were necessary as we had hoppies! I am concerned about it being a bit barbaric to do when he is awake and fighting.. and if it is actually worth the hassle/money

A reaction to the front line usually causes the hair to fall out and it is a very clear bald patch, the skin may look a bit flaky.

The microchipping uses a small needle and deposits the chip under the skin. They can do it further down wherever there is a nice flappy bit of scruff. It's over in 5 seconds! Some cats and dogs scream a bit (we used to pick out the wussy ones, they just looked like wussy's) others don't even bother (they being the tough as nails ones) and others just look at you with big eyes asking 'how could you'? (those expected treats for being brave)

I'd say it is worth it if you love your cat and if it goes outside. If it manages to get stuck or lost, it can be scanned and returned home. Plus, personally I think all pets should be chipped, to trace them if they go missing and it would discourage nasty owners from dumping their pets!

Phone PDSA and cat protection see if they will do it cheap for you.

I have a lot to say about pet ownership! I rant and rave and go on and on... and neutering too! and stuff...

Late home due to my car being really long... I can't really blame the person who parked along the wall as if i was driving a 'normal' car I would have got out, but I had to get an estate....

Tidied living room as much as it's going to get before the bedtime hour clean.
Looked and felt very ashamed of kitchen.
Made coffee and sat on my bum telling myself as soon as the caffine kicks in, I'm a-cleanin the kitchen!
