I tell myself to stop feeling sorry for myself, because really I have nothing at all to complain about, but it doesn't work. You do just have to wait for it to pass. So far today is much better.
A parcel I was waiting for has just come, some perfume for DD's birthday next month. I was hoping it would come today because tomorrow is her day off work and I didn't want her to wonder what was in the parcel!0 -
Cleared last nights leftovers.. yummy!!
Chicken in SC for tonight.. having it with potato wedges and peas and any other veg I can find in the freezer!!
I tallied up my 'lush' order.. £290!!!!!! BUT that does cover ALL the extended friends and family for christmas gifts.. and just leaves my mother and stepdad to buy for... and of course I'll get 10% discount and £50 worth of delightfuls just for me!! I knocked off 2 of the gift boxes.. I decided I wanted them so will add them to my list and give hubby another 10% discount thing and sen him buying next month (vouchers are not valid in December!!)
I'm looking at books for the children for christmas today as I am placing that order next week.. some of the quidco sites do 10% cashback so I'll have a look at those.
I have a boots order up to £188.. but with the 3 for 2 offers it is down to £135 and I have codes for various amounts of extra points.. so I normally split it into 4-5 orders and get an extra £50 of points.. I also have £130 in vouchers courtesy of pigsback!
I'll get to it then.. music on loud and go collect the vacuum cleaner!
Has anyone (while I remember) any experience of having a cat microchipped?? One of mine has a REALLY sore neck.. I'm not sure if he has been fighting and been bitten, if he has been scuffed by his collar (which I've had to remove) or if it is a reaction to the frontline drops... which were necessary as we had hoppies! I am concerned about it being a bit barbaric to do when he is awake and fighting.. and if it is actually worth the hassle/moneyLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Had a couple more cups of tea, put some more washing in , posted 2 ebay parcels, just one more to go..
That's all I've done so far, struggling to get my act together. The blinds man is here. I think I'm going to have to chase up the electrcian.I will maybe hoover when they have done....
kaz: My children are often heard saying for f*cks sake when they make mistakes etc...a real nightmare. I have no advice, just letting you know you aren't the only one!0 -

Both my cats were chipped before I got them from cat sanctuary but it meant one of them was "found" twice when he had gone missing. I had my little doogie chipped and it wasnt barbaric at all altho we did have to wait until she was big enough, no worse than a vaccination and she didnt even whimper. Cost me £22 and I'd pay to have any of my animals done again. just to know I'd get them back - Smudgie had been missing 5 months !Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
