    Why cant you edit a post on a phone these days? Means those annoying exclamation mark things which always come in when you need an apostrophe instead have to stay unless/if I get on a laptop and change it... ugh. Not at all sure about this new look forum/upgrade..

    Grocery spend today and omelettes all round. I love eggs - cheap and healthy. Very quick meal too, always a bonus on a Monday. Weather wasnt too bad thanks jwil, got to London which is where I needed to go. Jeffing freezing it was tho... real bitter.

    Lots of revision and test preparation today. You can feel the public exam season coming on fast! DD1 also has her DoE practice coming up.. her floor is half filled with kit, the other half with revision!

    Cold but bright today. Makes me optimistic :) Maybe Spring is finally arriving?

    Done two teeny tiny TTs. Planning some networking today and Thursday. Have breakfast and coffee to eat on the train. Started my bullet journal which will be a good help to me I think.. Also realised that if we needed to with our new mortgage payment we could manage any short term unemployment I had.... OH pointed it out this morning... a massive relief...

    Beanie.. you make me chuckle!! Come on down... it will be lush. I will also make some more as more sloes to use up (and make room in the freezer).. but means buying more cheap gin :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I never changed to the new look. On the phone if you are reading a DFW Diary and want to go back to the diary board, you can't because you can't see the full "tree" across the screen. So you have to go back usually to the main board and drill down again. Drives me nuts.

    brizzle, its to do with iOS. Go settings>general>keyboard and then turn 'smart punctuation' off and then it should be ok

    Hi Redo..yes ES said the same, but that way it would mean it was switched off for every website and I don't think I want that? I don't want to have to constantly flick it on and off. Finding my subscribed sites is also a pain...I know I sound like a Luddite, but I really don't think the changes are worth it. I haven't seen any upside to the 'new' forum format yet?

    A good day today. Did some business development too and have just shared my CV. Eek. OH said why are you doing that as he knows I am stacked out...but who knows what is around the corner. I need options and irons in the fire.

    MFM..hope you're doing OK. How's life?

    Beanie...its excellent news..it was said so simply as at about 7am this morning and the realisation made my heart jump for joy. Its quite a milestone for our family I think.

    DD1 is cooking dinner. Love it. Teenagers can be a real benefit :)
