Yay to extra cash :T Hope DD manages to get a break. It won't help her exam performance if she's ill from too much revising.

    Hi there everyone

DD1 finishes mid June so not long now. Its pretty tense and they are still learning new content. She has missed volunteering but yes we have been making sure there is some fun time and for example last Sunday (sunny) she spent time outside with friends. She needs to go to bed earlier but stays up to try and catch up. Think I will crack down on that from this weekend. Hows your boy doing greent? Its tough. I dont envy these guys.

DD2 is... she literally is beanie... I am not joking ;) Hes leaving some stuff with us for a bit, hes collecting it next month and shes planning to have carpet laid and have moved in by next week... its funny. Had a lovely evening with them all last night (not OH he was working :( ) and loved it. Our lodger will be missed.

Have a weekend break this weekend, cant wait. Need to dial down. Bonkers week. Leftovers this eve to use up whats in fridge, to spend less and so we dont have to cook. No exercise this week and not enough sleep. Ugh.

But on money side that boost from OH has made a huge difference. Hope to pay off final holiday CC TOMORROW :T

Whoop whoop! to paying off the CC! :j

My DS1 is too laid back where exams are concerned! There's no chance of him revising into the night! He's taking it more seriously than his AS exams last year, thank goodness, but probably still relying far too much on natural ability (which may get him decent grades anyway, but some hard work could get him great grades) I, too, don't envy them nowadays - it just seems so much more stressful than when I took my exams (although I have to confess to being one of those annoying types who didn't really revise - I read through my notes the night before/ on the bus on the way in to school most of the time :o) Mental health issues seem much more prevalent nowadays - I suspect some were there years ago but hushed up, but more students seem to suffer now :(
