You know you can do it Brizzle. I think a 13% savings rate is still pretty good"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Glad you are managing to enjoy the sunshine. At least you have a plan on the car and it's 0% rather than a heavy apr loan. Exerise and afd will come back. Managed to do an 8km run yesterday without stopping which is a bit of a milestone for me. I know it's not much for some but a big psychological hurdle leaped. Hoping for another tomorrow if I can get out before it's too warm.0

Thanks lovely ladies. Thats a real boost.. youre right. 13% would have seemed a miracle a short while ago. But it does mean that there has been a lot of unbudgetted spending.
Lots of socialising today and now have a house full of kids. If they play by the rules in the sleepover itll be fine.. if not I will get into spiky mode
Tomrorow will be quiet. Household chores, may make some sausage rolls, do some decoration and maybe an exercise class.
Congrats on the 8k run PF. Especially in this heat. Impressive. Havent run for ages - maybe need to get back on it.
Lots of love to you all xx0 -

Not bad Lou..not bad. I was unspecific as to the consequences of curfew breaking which may have worked this time... :rotfl:
DD1 planning a 10hour day of revising today. She is currently in the study singing along to 80s tunes...love it. When shes finished this session and moves back to her room I am hitting the study to start that filing..whoop
Beautiful day again. Wish it would last for a month or so. But think we know no chance of that...

You can't knock 13% savings in what you think is a bad month. I think that's good. You're doing much better than you give yourself credit for.
Well done to DD prioritising her revision.
Why can't the weather last until at least September. How much better does it make you feel?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
