Hi flumpkin, your debt is pretty similiar to what we started with. It does get easier and its a big boost when a card is gone, but the monotmy of it all does get to you. Like Millionaires post above you have to focus on the end and factor in a few treats. HTH

Wow Lucielle, well done on your journey. You have come such a long way and are so close now. Thanks for posting - shows me it can be done. It is shocking to see the amount my min payments add up to and how much I'd have 'spare' each month once these debts are paid off.
I look forward to having a wonderful holiday at the end of it all (paid cash of course) and desperately want some work doing on the house. I won't have it done until the debt is cleared though.
The snowball calculator has really inspired me. The idea that by not spending something and making an extra payment could bring my date forward is hopefully going to motivate me to stick to this.
I really need to get a budget sorted next .... x.0 -

Hmmm...well being able to afford to socialise weekly without having to worry about how many beers I can afford.
And as much as I love my housemate, i'd love to be able to afford to rent on my own before i'm middle aged!!
And a holiday once a year would be lovely too.
All of that is in my reach when i'm debt free - bring it on!!0 -
