Oh dear Tlc - not a good year, not surprising you fell off the debt wagon! Still, back on board now, that's the main thing.

I've had a set back in the debt busting too - threw everything at the little overdrafts and paid almost a grand off the CC overall reducing the debt by about £2k or so, only to learn daughter has not budgeted for her car service and insurasnce, and due to an accident earlier this year the premiums were sky high. So I ahd to bail her out for £2,500 and although she is going to pay me back its put the figures back up to where they were before I made all the effort. So been in another grump for last two days.

Good news though is that Barclaycard gave me £18k on interest free so moved everything across (well almost everything - Virgin is 0% anyway til Feb so no point paying the transfer fee for that) and now seriously attacking that. Well I will be after Christmas anyway, as very expensive twop months coming up with 2 kids birthdays, going on hols on Thursday and then Crhistmas etc...

Still 2011 is the year I will get to grips with it all!

Oh dear EB69 Sounds as if you are having a right ol time.

I think we will all have the same 2011 New Year Resolution

I paid off another £40 (extra as already paid £40 to them) off one of my creditors today so my balance is looking more and more manageable :T

Although heard today they are making 25% job cuts accross my servcie which is a tad more worrying

Made £50 on ebay though so my maternity savings are coming along well!!!:T

Hope all the Long Haulers are having a good November so far!

    Thanks annibee!

Well I did manage to talk myself out of it and cooked when I got home which tasted lovely and I had leftovers for breakfast. I then spoiled it by going out to lunch today with colleagues which cost us £21 each :o

Fortunately I have some stuff to sell on Ebay which will, hopefully, recoup that amount after fees so I'll get listing this weekend.

I brought in home-made soup for lunch today, so that will reduce the lunch spend by a few quid. Last weekend I decided to revert to the food of my childhood so Saturday soups will make a return. Beef soup tomorrow, in a large enough quantity to divide and freeze.

Sounds good unfortunately my culinary skills are limited ......ok very limited lol so I have no idea how to make soup :(

Bit more Chritmas shopping for me today (this doesnt count as spending though as we saved £40 a month for a year so our christmas budget for presents is £507 I still have half left but only a couple more people to buy for so im well under budget lol :)
