Hey Happy,
an IBC is an interest bearing credit account. Basically, for a few months last year I had to offer every creditor £1 per month until I had sorted some stuff out. Sadly my 6 catalogues were with Shop Direct, and they would not accept £1 per month, freeze interest or stop charges.
I got hundreds of pounds in late and missed payment fees, and the only way to avoid getting further into debt was to take these interest bearing credit accounts instead. It meant my debts increased dramatically but at least I had affordable monthly payments back. I am tied in for 3 years, and the agreements started at the beginning of this year. It said in the terms & conditions that early payment would result in fees.I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Good morning all. I am still on hols for a week but I really wish the sun would come out in Scotland for a while. Weather said it was to be nice today but it is still miserable.
Going to phone ARGOS soon and pay £70 off my bill. Need to clear £just under £250 by 3rd Sept to avoid interest charges . I'll do it if it kills me. Have uniforms etc to buy in the meantime too though . Never mind. If life wasn't a struggle it wouldn't be such a challenge would it? And it would get boring. Or would it?? Hmm5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000
