that is really pants - is the APR really high or summat? I used to have one card where the APR was 35% so when I maxed it to 4.5k I'd pay £120 and only pay off around £8.
  • yes its 34% they wont drop it any further cheeky sods eh !! !

And / or reclaim PPI & charges on the account.
  • Hi matty thanks, I spoke to niddy before and I just don't fancy the ue route we can afford to pay it, it's still with original people... They won't help you unless you are in the crap which is disgusting I think they should be helping us pay back dropping intrests they are just fueling mr Bransons plane cheeky sods :-) thanks though. I will however enjoy closing the account when the time comes :-) x

  • Hi folks. I am member number 21 on here but have been neglectful. But I'm back and going to be popping in to say hi. Happyto get that's is a real scunner when that happens. It really annoys me the amount I pay every month against how little my balance goes down. Funny how it never bothered me whilst I was maxing my cards out mind you lol. All the more reason to get rid of those horrible cards. I just wish I had some money left at the end of the month to make overpayments but hey ho I never do.

Can I join you guys please, I have just over £18'000 to pay off which i'm hoping is going to take about 3 years :) I've had several attempts in the past, but think I got too strict and kept falling off the wagon, i'm going to be more realistic this time.
  • It's going down. I am at an impasse at the mo tho and need to come on regularly to motivate myself again to do a bit more. I do all the things like watching my grocery bill, not wasting money etc etc but habits creep back too quickly and last week for instance I twice bought take aways and that money would do wonders in my purse this week so am annoyed at myself. Never mind, onwards and upwards.
