Hi Scooby, I'm doing that too. My Virgin card is still 0% (this month anyway!) and I want another creditor off my list just to give me a psychological boost though I should probably be pouring it into my RBS loan as it's the highest interst rate.

I am wondering if I'd be able to get a life of balance on my Virgin card and transfer money into my bank account to pay off more of the loan, but not sure I's be allowed to do that.

And why is it always 3am when I start thinking about these things so I then can't sleep!
Oh I know what you mean......record of getting to sleep recently is 4.30am :( I'm a musician so used to a later start to my day but still.... I know I have to something about my money issues!! I guess doing even something small has to be good! So nice though everyone on here is great :j

Aw hun, I hope it all works out for the best and that the plane B talks when he heard about it went well. Thinking of you x

Were you at work when The One Show was on today? You posted on Lisawaters thread (Mike, the dodgy builder that disappeared and left his cottage in a state of disrepair), in case you've not had time to follow it ('cos let's face it, it's a looooooooong thread!), he was on The One Show tonight and they named and shamed the builder!

And today I paid off my MBNA credit card :j I will be skint for all of April now but I can score another one off the list! Remind me of that towards next payday when I am scouring the streets for dropped pennies!

Phoned Inland Revenue re. my tax codes today... and felt a bit stupid as the guy pointed ot the reason I had three tax codes was because I officially had three jobs!

D'oh! He is off course right, but I had forgotten I had signed up the the local NHS bank. I had a bit of a barney with a consultant Nurse over something that would be in conflict with my main job and decided it would be safer not to take up any shifts! SO completely forgot about that job - to be honest, I thought they'd taken me off the register a long time ago!

Anyway, the coding notices just co-incidentally arrived just after I sent the letter about getting tax back. They've not dealt with that yet (which stands to reason, given I decided he end of the tax year would be the time to eventually get that letter sent!) If I'd done it when you firt told me to HTGDF!!!!

But at least it means I might have some money coming my way in the next wee while :D.

HTGDF, how is your OH? And your doggy? And you?

    And how is every-one else?

Keep up the good work :)

Sorry to hear about your OH - HTGDF

Little update for me, I finally logged onto internet banking and surprisingly didn't go OD last month for the first time in ages - frugalism paid off for once!

Paid a big bill and paid some money off a CC over the min payment. I've told myself to do this for ages and ignored it so was pleased to do it at long last

The credit card repayment attack plan takes place from now on.....here we go!

Hi all!! Well not been on for a while but just done monthly update & we managed to pay off £473 in March despite having to fork out for car service & MOT & £65 to have washing machine fixed, so really pleased with that! Hopefully we'll be able to get below £33k by the end of April!! Will catch up with all your posts over the next few days, thanks for reading folks & keep chipping away!!
