Well I like to browse and someone posted a payday loan thing saying they want to give referrals so they could make some pennys so I said no that it was a stupid idea with the intrest rate and that I found it offensive and the person hurled abuse and said they wouldn't take financial advice from me looking at my signiture and that I must be dumb if I can't work out apr of payday loan which is 25% so for every 100 you pay 25 quid. So I got abit more riled needless to say the threads now gone I wa really fumed! I do find that sometimes they are harsh judgers on them sort of boards! Little bleeder grrr

Hello everyone. I haven't posted for a while, but I have been lurking..........everyone seems to be doing really well.

Today was payday...........yayyy! I've managed to pay off £712.72 this month. Its so nice to see those figures coming down, I just wish I could be under the 20k mark in a couple of months. Today is also my day off, so I've been declutering some of my bedroom cupboards. I can now actually see what I've got in there, but I'm feeling really ashamed of myself 'cos I'd actually forgotten about some of the stuff I had (all heading for ebay!)..........which goes to prove that my DH was right..........I never really needed them in the first place.......but I won't admit to that when he's around

Off to update my diary now. Keep up the good work x

Ooh, you have a diary too Snowdonlily? Will have to have a look and add it to my subscriptions .

I'm having a grumpy day so think I need to turn the computer off and come back when I'm less grumpy!

HTGDF - no wonder you were fuming. Unecessary rudeness and people making huge assumptions based on no (or very little) information annoys me beyond words! And commenting on your signature in that way is out of order! Arrogant little (insert preferred word of choice here!). Big hugs honey x

Hi Snowdon Lily, I've subscribed to your diary too.

I've subscribed to quite a few diaries now and I find them all inspirational, but I'd like to subscribe to a a few more diaries by fellow single folk with a long term debt, so I can see how they cope with the journey to DFWB-ess. Can anyone recommend a diary or two that I could follow?

ah i try to limit diary following just stick to this and mrs cmrs really theres too many pages in everyone unless you are lucky enough to catch the diary day one i pmd the abrupt rudey and they apologised

You're right. Diary following does get addictive. Glad that rudey apologised to you.

Feel free to have a nose at mine. Mostly it's me veering of on mad tangents and forgetting to do some debt-busting along the way...

But I probably was nearer 40k a few years ago when I had a flickering moment of clarity, then fell off the wagon. Which is why I started up my own diary this time. It helps having some-where to rant and get it all down when you are single and can't offload onto an OH (though, from most of the diaries I've read, it's generally an OH being on a different wave-length when it comes to debt-busting that's a problem.)

And it's also good to have some-where to admit you've been paying no attention and actually you need to clamber back up on the wagon and start fighting again . Helps keep you on the straight and narrow!

Lula Hula's diary good too. Failing that, start up your own and let us know .
