Happy Birthday HTGDF!! Well not been on for a while but it has been another tough month for us!! Had to fork out £65 last week as the washing machine packed up!! That said I am getting quite abit of overtime in cos we are short staffed at work with coleagues using their holidays up before the end of the financial year!! Had to borrow £30 off family to get us through the week till payday Friday! Better to do that than add anymore to CC's!! Hope everyone else is OK!! Keep chipping away!! Back soon!!DEBT AT LBM(1/7/07)-£35,052.19 DEBT (31/08/10) Average amount paid off P.M. £67.96 Paid off so far £2582.68(7.3%) Target to pay off in 2010 £2,340.14/£3,600 LH Supporter(165) DFD September 2110:eek:0

Thanks HTGDF!! It has been really tough this year so far but hopefully we shall start to get on top of things within the next few months with one of our loans finishing next month!! Still think that we will manage to pay quite abit off this month but it is just so tough at times trying to get by without having to use CC's!! Luckily got a great family who are always there to help out! Do try our best not to rely on them though but we have helped them out before & would always do our best to IYKWIM!! March is always a tough month for us anyway with car tax MOT & family birthdays,Mother's Day etc. but had to pay out for washing machine on top & had to pay out for broken window last month!! Fingers crossed, we can get through April without any obstacles!! Take care & have a great birthday!!xDEBT AT LBM(1/7/07)-£35,052.19 DEBT (31/08/10) Average amount paid off P.M. £67.96 Paid off so far £2582.68(7.3%) Target to pay off in 2010 £2,340.14/£3,600 LH Supporter(165) DFD September 2110:eek:0

Instead I caught up on DFW diaries... though I'm now terrified by every-one's motivation, that I'm going to go to bed early and wake up raring to go tomorrow!
Honest guv!
I know what you mean. I last updated my diary last month. But I do post on the threads I subscribe to and I thought I'd end up just repeating myself all the time. At least all my ramblings would be on one thread. Guess I'll just have to risk repeating myself every so often in any other posts I write.

:eek:After I read that I went over there to take a look. I can see what you mean. It's not a part of the board I like to visit much. I think that posts there are much harsher there anywhere else on the forum - but I guess that they have to be. Maybe if people had been spoken like that to me all those years ago, I wouldn't be in the debt I'm in now.

Hey HTGDF... So sorry I missed your birthday, been out and about all day and knew I should have sent you cake this time last night! Hope you had a fab day!
Great news on striking down a creditor! It's always a great pyschological boost!
I got letters from Inalnd Revenue today... they've changed my code... to exactly what it already was! But at least I now have the right number to call them on and find out what's going on!
Steerpiker, my diary is full of nonsensical ramblings. Many of which bear no correlation to me trying to pay of debts. And are probably repeated numerous times across threads, but folks are nice and they don't seem to hold it against me.
I kinda want to look at the loans board but I'm kinda terrified of what I might find if I do. I might just snuggle in here with you all, if that's ok?
TEK - fingers crossed next month is a better month! I really can empathise! I've had something every month this year so far and currently there's a waiting list: 1. Element on oven 2. Gas hob 3. Car tyre (though suspect this might needed to be bumped up the list! But work might cover it.)Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
