Just popping in to get a hug! Feel in need of one as feling hacked off! On the good side I spent so much less than I did and partky because of this am annoyed that I spent almost 50 in Sains! It was a "big" shop (cat food, loo paper etc) but am annoyed with myself as should have gone to tesco tomorrow when I wasnt tired but just wanted it done! I need a loaf of bread but cant be arsed to make it! I'm having a no spend week next week (appart from Sat when I have a prebooked day out arranged!) so will catch up but stll annoyed! Partly because that & petrol went on cc today as panicked because I'm od! Bizarre how the cc's stress me out less than the o/d which is so much cheaper! Nuts!

1 step - have you done the Tondella DFW flylady challenge? I'm rubbish at IT stuff so can't do a link, but the thread is on DFW somewhere. It's a 30 (or 31?) day challenge which goes back to basics, it's fab. I've done it a few times just to get a bit of motivation and kick start me when things have slowed down. It's like one task a day, it's great, I'd recomend it :D

ISOM - :grouphug: sending you dodgy 3-way hugs to cheer you up chick - don't beat yourself up about the spend, today is a new day and a new start. We all have blips along the way, but the important thing is to remember that DFW is a journey, not a quick fix, and journey's take wrong turns and cars conk out  (especially if I'm driving lol!) Hope you're feeling better today hun x

Wendy - Hope all is well with you, don't worry about the car, I'm sure things will pick up. As for being off track, don't stress it, you're back on now and that's the main thing!

Have a good day everyone :D

hi everyone, hope you are all having a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Well done PG. Well I'm pleased with myself as managed to do the weekly shop yesterday for £44, but we did go without some things which we can manage without, but it really bugs me as they are not even the 'luxury' items, hey ho got to seriously get my head around starting to grow my own veg etc at home. Just cant keep up with spiraling costs.
  • dubgirl, am well impressed with a £44 weekly shop - well done!

ISOM £44 is for 2 adults and DS who is 2 and a half. We have a dog as well, however she already had enough food in- we buy in bulk 15 kg bag of special greyhound grub and bulk buy treats etc from Jolleyes, but is normally including in weekly budget. In faireness we did not buy any meat, again we buy this from a place that sell to the trade (local resturants and pubs) as well as the public, its cheaper as no frills or fancy packaging. If anyone is in the MK area and wants to know the name, then please pm me.

PS - everything we bought in Morrisons was value and I make my own bread. We also walked around with a calculator!
