Yup, seems we're all being shovelled in to First Utility. At first glance I reckon I'll be £25-30pm worse off. Super.0

Yes you can but I would wait for the SoLR transfer to take place. If you don’t, you run the risk of complicating an already complicated process. The SoLR should reference this in the information that it gives you.0 -
Whats the 'SoLR transfer' and how long will that take ?0

First Utility - their cheapest tariff is £565pa more than the tariff I was on. Thanks, but no thanks. Looks likes its the British Gas "Energy Plus Boiler Cover Oct 2019" for me.0

Official line from Ofgem
Ofgem appoints First Utility to take on customers of Usio Energy
Usio customers will be supplied by First Utilty from tomorrow, 19th October 2018“Our advice for customers of Usio Energy is to wait until First Utility contacts you. They will give you more information about the tariff you are on, and about your credit balance if you have one. Then you can shop around for a better deal if you wish to.”if [customers] do not wait until the transfer has been completed, the switch may not proceed or could take longer to complete.
And heres a link to the FU website with lots of useful infor for Usio cutomers

And it takes the usual 21 days from when the appointed supplier kicks things off. You can try to switch elsewhere yourself but it's probably too late - first to get the industry dataflow out that triggers it all "wins".I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0
