    thanks for lists & threads.
Not sure how busy I'll be this week; so far I have one private assessment booked, 1 to write up but no uni booked as yet although there were apparently lots of emails out.

Mr N goes away for a week on Wed (ugh, have to drop him and friend at the airport by 7am) so I'm on daily MIL duty.
Would like to start a spring clean blitz getting rid of any 'stuff' in the house, especially as a few things have gone missing lately and if I have a good clear out I may find them. I started before my hols last month and took a load of clothes to CS so hopefully I can continue.
    Also still sorting holiday photos.
    And hoping for gardening weather.
Not to mention continue running programme and slinkie thoughts.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Hi ladies! Thank you so much for all your messages of support. It means a lot to me.:lovethoug

So - I called his bluff and offered to sort out his suitcase (my heart was breaking) so he could go. Toss of a coin...

He is still here. I cried. He apologised. We talked for hours. I am utterly exhausted. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I've drawn a line in the sand and dared him to cross it. Bring it on.

Love for Dancepops and Wolfie. Big hugs to everyone xxx

I will try to fly this week.

Morning all. Hugs to all who need them.

Dizzy - hope things work out well for you. We all have blips. Relationships are hard sometimes.

I'm just going to have a quick look at finances and then start on today's list, so thanks for that.

    Have a great day everyone.

Dizzy well done for you both talking to each other, this is (IMO) a good thing and a way to go, clears the air, etc hugs x

It is raining here, so unless it clears up, no gardening today, if I really had to do it, then I would, but another day / week is not going to hurt.

    WM is on
    Bed is stripped and remade
    Toilets are bleached
    Whole of upstairs is hoovered.
All rubbish is out in relevant recycling bins etc.

    To do
    2 x volunteer visits
    Food shopping
    Hoovering down stairs
    Kitchen
    More washing / drying etc
Several other small jobs, including watching OH's eby account, as it seems he has a bidding war going on and wants to know the end result as it finishes while he is at work and they are not allowed eby access!

    Slinkeys -1 again this week.

    Well done on Slinkie Kaz.

Tipping down here too, so dogs have not had a walk yet, but I have been dusting the shelves and contents in the dining room. We have a lot of shelves so I may carry on later if I have time. Have also done a quick hoover downstairs. Bed made as usual and 2nd of 3 washloads now in WM.

Job search now. I have been shortlisted on one job so need to complete a strength/weakness questionnaire.

    Bonjour

I have discovered that if I don't come on here and post less gets done. So hopefully this week I can get on with some sorting around the house.

And the Slinky challenge. OK in 2 months I have lost nothing! oops. So I have to do something different. Am undecided about going smaller plates hence smaller portions and trying to eater better in general and move more or going low carb. I know low carb works for me but it is difficult on Tuesday and Wednesday when I pick up lunch in town and weekends. Also eating better will benefit OH who also needs to lose some weight too.

Ok it's decided we are going to eat less, better and lighter and I am not going to have a drink during the week (the weekend starts on Friday night). And I am going to up my step count.

Sorry to have rambled on but writing it down has made me think and reason.

So now am off to get on with it.

Hugs to all that need or want.

2lb slinkier.. and.. broke the next stone barrier.. so.. 12.6lb to lose before I am merely 'overweight' :D

Dizzy.. I am mighty proud of you for taking control of the situation!!! He will think twice before making the same threat again.. You have both had a tough few years with everything going on so I can understand trying to get back into a new routine and house and everything else has taken it's toll.. but you will find your groove again. Keep talking and be open with your feelings, both of you.. you can get through this bump in the road.. biggest of hugs and a high five for being brave!

I've had 4 hours sleep thanks to a pukey Twinkle.. again.. this is the second time in 9 days.. her eczema is having a massive flare up as well so she is itchy.. I'm wondering if she has an allergy to nappies tbh as it is all in that area bar the odd little patch. It is tipping with rain and I have 2 lots of superking bedding, 27 towels, a quilted mattress protector, 3 sleepsuits, a nightie and a unicorn to wash and get dry before tonight.. DS2 has thankfully stopped being sick eventually.. he has been really ill for 2 days.. he is at the point where the ketones are so high they are making him feel sick so he can't eat.. I need to grab some glucose tablets from shop for him I think... bring his blood sugar up and force him to drink fluids to flush out the ketones so he feels better..

Beasts banished to school.. Pixie was up at some god forsaken o'clock and is shattered so her screeching coupled with my tired led to a very unpleasant morning for all.. yes I threatened to shave her head.

TD on with the first lot of sicky washing and I have a massive pile of stuff to hang up to dry and nowhere to hang it!

  • Morning All,

Sending hugs to LW, Dizzy, Dancepops, Piggers' pukers and anyone else who wants one xx

Well done to Slinkies - my weigh in is tomorrow.
Jazee - fingers, toes, everything firmly crossed for you xx

Before I forget - can anyone make use of 3 brand new M&S white cotton kids polo shirts age 6-7? My mum bought them for DD instead of the blue ones, we can't use them, if they're any good please PM me xx

It is raining cats and dogs here. Wettest school run ever on foot done, followed by an equally wet dog walk. DW unloaded, TD on, other bits over heated airer, some work emails sent for DH. Need to book a food delivery for tomorrow then back to school for 11.15 for Mothers Day lunch
