Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes!

I am having a nice day 😊 Had some cheerful presents (including a xylophone for the chickens, which of course they completely ignore until you sprinkle treats on it 😂 )

We went for breakfast at a new to us cafe (which i think will become a pretty regular one), then for lunch at our favourite cafe - normally we only ever have flapjack there but we actually had lunch today and it was very nice indeed.

Home now, and the farmers have fixed the bit of wall I was rebuilding. I'm quite embarrassed about this - yes it's to keep their cows out of our garden, but it's my wall and I went out for breakfast and let two farmers in their 70s fix it 🙈 They've had to dismantle the crappybit I'd already done as well 🙈 Must take them a cake or something...

Not ruling out another cafe today - I'm very much enjoying sitting on a picnic bench with a book, feels like the perfect birthday activity. I think an early evening bath will be in order too, and maybe an episode of Call the Midwife. Not sure I'm going to be able to eat anything else until tomorrow though 😮😂
