Sounds like a lovely productive day, CD. I loves me a bit o'mulch. That sort of work is so satisfying when you stand up and take it in at the end of the day.

It was indeed a perfect (and surprisingly big!) apple!
And yes, a very satisfying day. Hoping for another one, although today might involve more mooching about rather than actual work. Sun is shining though which I wasn't expecting!6 -
Ooh, just had a most satisfying m0rrisons shop - used my £10 worth of points, then the rest was paid for with Covid study vouchers 😂 The cashier didn't look impressed 🙄 Still, £40 worth of shopping effectively 'free' 😁12

Evening MSE chums!
Not much to report today. I had 3.5 hours of video chatting this morning (perfectly cheerful, basically one big long chat with one other person about our funding bid, it was like sharing an office and just working through lots of things), then Mr Cheery and I popped to the cafe at lunchtime. Didn't have lunch, just a flapjack and tea - and we got a free drink 😁 They have loyalty cards, and somehow we amass our 9 drinks pretty quickly and then get our 10th free, usually at least once every week or two 😮
Collected Mr Cgeery's prescription, booked my bike in for a service, then got my head down to work for another 4 hours.
Sat in the greenhouse now after giving everything a good water 😁 My round courgettes have emerged now - I think they were the last thing I was waiting for (not planted til 14th April, so it's not taken them long). Squash are looking so big I'll have to repot soon, and then I'll officially be running out of space 😂
Nowt else to report I don't think. It's my birthday tomorrow so I've got the day off 😁 Last year was my 40th and a bit of a lockdown washout, although I've not bothered to plan anything for tomorrow either and it looks like it's going to rain 🙄 I did buy myself a book so a nice long daytime bath might be in order!!8
