It's supposed to give an indication of internal fat, the stuff that gathers around your vital organs. Your waistline should be half your height, so you take some string, measure from your feet to the top of your head, fold the length in half and pass it around your waist. If it meets or crosses over that's good - OH had at least 2'' to go, even though he was holding it in! 2 years ago I had a 'fatty liver' so I hope I've reversed it by losing the weight.

    Bubbs great NSV!

Well done barleysugar and great NSV bubbs.:T

I want to maintain at this weight for a while, and avoid the stress of fighting against the stupid underactive thyroid which is obviously interfering with weight loss. With 3 stone still to lose I shouldnt be stuck when I am eating healthier now that I ever have. But apparently hyperthyroidism is a notorious obstacle to good weight loss..

You're right but when the medication is stabilised then you should be able to lose. I'd just keep on plan and plod on if I were you.:)

I will continue eating as much free food as possible, and tomatoes, cucumber and eggs are all great for a healthy thyroid, though I can't see me eating seaweed :D Plus step up the exercise to raise my metabolism if possible
Hopefully I can restart with the July challenge.

Why ever not? Laverbread is lush!

Don't forget to have as much Speed as possible too dusty.;)

Meal plan and shopping all done.:) I didn't stop for lunch in the end and now I've gone past it so will wait for my dinner.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, half HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: none:o
D: sausages, mash, fried onions, carrots, kale, broccoli, red cabbage
Syns: BGTY sausages 2, gravy 4. I'm going to try to stop at that but can't promise.
