I've just rechecked my future bills and my TV costs are going up 80p vs the published increase for my package of £2 so I'm still getting the 60% discounts as agreed.
The increase on the full package price as a % would be ~2.8%0 -
Sky Press release on 10 July 2017:
"The new package of ten channels and an unrivalled schedule of live sport is available for the same price (£27.50 per month), which will remain frozen for 12 months."

How does this stack up legally given the recent price increase?0 -

Also - Sky are supposed to give its customers a month written notice of any impending rises - which they have not done (myself 26 days) - so I suggest a mass email to Sky customer services0 -

As I said earlier in the thread:I'm sure if you call Sky, they may credit you the 4 days cost in lieu of the delayed letter due to weather.
No need for a 'mass email'! I imagine most people, like myself, received them more than 30 days in advance.
Anyway, I'm not sure what you are worried about. You said Sky had told you that you had a fixed price contract, not like the rest of us who have a % discount. What did they say when you called them to let them know they were incorrectly charging you?And in any case- mine was an agreed special price - arranged just 6 months ago for 18 months
How can they put my charges up ?They told me on the on-line chat that the price was fixed for the 18 months that the contract ran for (from July 2017)0
