On Mothering Sunday, Dizzy? Never mind what he thinks he wants or doesn't, what do you want?
Thanks for that suggestion Narco, but as I volunteer at the foodbank it's unlikely there is the kind of spare cash about for a kindle. The gentleman has said that he thinks it's the one-to-one that's making the difference this time - the centre manager is absolutely brilliant and it's her that normally works with him, but she was doing a manual handling course this week. If the subject comes up I'll mention that there are options - and thank you so much for suggesting them.
LW, if helping someone is causing you to rubberband back to an experience that is haunting you, it might be wise to think about putting yourself first and gently bowing out until you feel safe again.
I've finished the sealant around the bath and sink and tidied everything away - hurarh. Still working on Kelpie's dags; it's almost as if he's shy. Smelly dog blankets run through the WM although it's raining, oh well, never mind. Lodger in, stayed here last year so that's easy.Better is good enough.0 -
Can't see it. Says I'm not allowed to/not part of the sharing. Not entirely convinced about the notion, what with my aversion to glitter (other when historically sending kids home to their other parents with carefully crafted creations involving about five tubs of the stuff)- but I'm nosey and would be happy to be converted to the idea if it looks nice.
[wonders: could you have done the 'share to all but' when you had issues with CF and FB? Or is it just my general internet incompetence? Just messaged if you wanted to add me again, but if you don't want to, fair enough]
Himself was hoyed out of bed at 2.30pm, he made tea, watched Bake Off and then disappeared upstairs again. I've been practising and my wrists hurt. But there are hints of movement back up there again.
Oh well, had he been up earlier, he might have avoided the downpour that's been going on for about 3 hours now. Never mind, dear. It'll help you feel better (he's got slightly swollen glands in his neck, so needed the extra long snoring session, apparently). AND HE'S UP AGAIN! YesIt's very glittery
The colour reminds me of one of the greens in the colour palette used in The Shape of Water.
Not convinced it would work here - it's far too F&B here for me to start toshing sparkles over it without Himself asking if I've flipped my lid - and the Idiot Cat would immediately have a sparkly Arris. But it's the best sparkles I've seen on a paint finishI could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
