Hmmm.... is "scrabble" a codeword? :rotfl: :rotfl:
----
I *have* been going through the mill a bit, tbh, El, and very glad to be coming out the other side, tho I've been tired today after the stuff I did yesterday (oops, explained below).
New resolution here: weekly lists. Got to catch up on yesterday first:
- ironed the voile-type things to drape over the window in the ensuite-to-be, looks more like a home.
- draped them! That took a bit of arranging.
- cleared a quarter of the double bed in the 2nd bedroom (half is legitimately full, its the bedding for that bed in dustproof bags).
- swept most of the patio, didn't want the building dust going into the new drain that was built under the new porch last year, especially with all the rain that was forecast. Felt v virtuous, but am v tired from that bit today.
- got an old windowsill box, swept it and put drainage stones in the bottom, put it in the place where I want it - outside the 2nd bedroom, to lighten up the view (I've realised the naff outside makes that bedroom quite unpleasant to be in).
So, today:
- done most of the washing up.
- admired the voile-type curtains (well, someone has to! :rotfl: )
- cleared some more of that bed, it was really easy, actually, and great to declutter paper, which is my bugbear, always, always, always.
- noticed that A League Of Their Own was on tv, and taped it (dvd'd it) - I love that movie. Its a task! It is! I'm sick!!!!
Okay, a proper list for next week:
- first things first: keep taking vit c, multivit, echinacea, start milk thistle for liver.
- carry on with my b365 qualifiers.
- investigate preloved - if they don't charge for listing, they may be a better bet than ebay, I'm *really* not convinced my stuff will sell, so Im not eager to pay upfront charges.
- in the garden, get the patio cleaned up (lots of weeds, and big, big spiders) and get the windowbox ready to plant stuff - lettuce, radishes, quick salad crops that cost a bundle. Very dfw.
- in the house, do a spring clean of the bathroom. While not strictly dfw, it will make me feel a whole lot better. I've been ignoring the bathroom so strongly, I think I've run out of smellies for the bath, very nearly.
- and, most importantly for my future financial freedom, do live virtual trading according to my system: Monday evening, Weds and Thurs morning and evening, Friday morning if poss. Doing live trading will mean coming on here very rarely during that time - I have to check the markets every 10 mins, minimum, and I'll be doing a stream of consciousness Word document about the trades, including entry and exit signals, risk/reward/ratios, stoplosses and targets. As Z identified a month or so ago, my stoplosses are very badly defined, (I left them out of that list, had to go back to put them in).
Thats do-able. To keep on top of things, I have to do one thing in the house and one on the outside, thats a must.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Aargh! Already forgot one thing - charge up my moneybookers account with euros from my French bank account. I don't have the proper space to do that till Wednesday. Thats really, really crucial.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oops.
Okay, a reassessment:
- first things first, that one is looking after myself, taking vit pills etc. Thats got to be good!
- b365, preloved and live virtual trading - all 3 of these are sitting in front of a computer, prattling on to myself. Not strenuous. So, next,
- patio/windowbox work is antidote to this - I have to have some physical activity in there, remember how sedentary my job is, and I don't travel to work or anything like that till Friday.
- the extra one, opening up the moneybookers account, is a phone call, and possibly a letter, thats all.
Realistically, I probably won't touch the bathroom, till Sunday, if at all. Its a v small room, and unpleasant to be in at the moment. I nearly had it right as well, sigh, then it went downhill.
Right, I'll scrub the bathroom (ha ha!) from the list.
Thanks for looking after me!
I'm closing the comp down now to relax properly. Night all!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
